Certificate Management Protocol (CMP) handles all relevant aspects of certificate creation and management. CMP supports interactions between [[glossaire:PKI|Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)]] components, such as the [[glossaire:CA|Certificate Authority (CA)]], [[glossaire:RA|Registration Authority (RA)]], and the user or application that is issued a certificate.
