+This may be a bit late, but I have had the same issues in getting it into flash mode. There is **a button inside the case (if you take the back off) then press that and hold the reset button**, you'll get it into a different mode. On Windows 7 it recognises it as a disk called VDfu. From here however I have no ideas on what I can do to flash it.
